The 2023/24 Aviation Fees have increased in accordance with Councils 2023/24 Budget approved in June 2023.

In 2018 Council resolved to re-introduce landing fees for non-commercial/private/recreational flying for aircraft with MTOW up to 2,000kg at both of its Airports.

These fees had been waived in full since 2010, and Council agreed that a fee should apply given the significant ongoing costs incurred in operating and maintaining both airports.

The fees are charged at the rate of 50% of the regular landing fees applied for non-recreational and commercial flights. Touch and Go fees remain at 50% of Landing Fee
